Is it just me or is there this revival happening in the marketplace?
No. I know it’s not just me. I tap to someone’s profile on Instagram- someone like David Stultz and I see he’s sharing openly about his faith.
I think of rad people I’m meeting like Kara Seymour, who’s just all about King Jesus.
And after 16 weeks of networking and an online group with Faith Driven Entrepreneur, meeting people like Liza Marie Garcia, who is on fire and doing so much with the talents she’s been given, I am lifted! So inspired.
My days as an entrepreneur have been exhausting, exhilarating, FUN, terrifying, encouraging, life-changing, and filled with risk. And I link that all so closely to my walk with Jesus, my Lord.
See, business is fun. And I, a woman with two young boys, who thought I would be home full time but financially, in Maine… that is not quite feasible… Yes, I came to the bottom of a pit and found myself looking up once again at this small business idea that God planted in me during the height of COVID in 2020.
If I could go back…. Sure, I would do things differently to set myself up for success, and in a few different ways that I’m sure I’ll end up sharing. But I have gained wisdom I wouldn’t otherwise have. I can now say to a 20-something gal, “Get a full time job and figure out your passion on the side….” *trying to not to cringe*
But God in His kindness has given us dreams, desires, and gifts- all to be used for His glory. All to be used wherever we are- yes in the marketplace- for onlookers to see the excellence of our work and say, “Who is that?”
And then to wonder… What is their “why”...

My “why” is Jesus.
My “why” is that every soul who sees my life would be inspired to pursue Jesus with all they are. It’s why I exist. I haven’t lived it as consistently as I wish I did. But I am here to say that man- pursuing Christ, the Messiah, and in and through the gifts He has given to each individual soul- it is the BEST journey. A cross that I choose to pick up day after day.
Is any of this resonating with you?
If you have a job- say 50 hours a week every week for 50 weeks a year we’ll say. That’s 2,500 hours every year. 2,548 hours is how many hours you’ll sleep this year if you sleep 7 hours each night.
If I am to spend the majority of my waking hours doing something other than mothering my own flesh and blood, it must be something that I am on fire to do and become.
And so, this revival that’s happening across our world. Ha how amazing to be alive right now!!!
Let revival continue to spread across the marketplace- that every soul would be set on fire for the Living God and that every soul would surrender and live their lives for Jesus Christ.
